Mission Readiness is a daily points event that changes stage every 4 hours. Each stage has four chests that you fill with one kind of activity: upgrading heroes, building, researching, training soldiers or enhancing your fighter. Clearing chests earns Daily Medals, and 18 medals unlock the best daily reward, including 2 UR Omni Hero Shards. The whole trick is timing: do each activity during the stage that scores it.
Quick Answer
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Where is it? | Incidents tab → Mission Readiness |
| How long is a stage? | 4 hours. There are 6 stages a day, starting at the daily reset (02:00 UTC) |
| Which stages? | Upgrade Hero, Construct Base, Research Tech, Train Soldiers, Enhance Fighter |
| When does a stage come back? | 5 themes fill 6 slots, so each theme returns 20 hours later, 4 hours earlier in the day |
| Chests per stage | 4, labelled 1,890 / 3,790 / 5,680 / 7,580 in value |
| Best daily reward | 18 Daily Medals = 2 UR Omni Hero Shards, 6 Recruit Cards and 200 diamonds |
| Who do you compete with? | 12–20 players with a similar Base level, matched at the daily reset |
How Mission Readiness Works
The day is split into six 4-hour stages. Each stage has one theme, and only that theme’s actions score. When the stage ends, its points stop counting toward its chests and the next theme starts. Five themes rotate through six daily slots, so a theme that runs at 10:00 UTC today runs at 06:00 UTC tomorrow. Tap Calendar on the event screen to see what is coming.
The event shows two different scores:
- The number at the top left is your points for the current stage. It fills the four chests.
- Your score in the ranking is your total for the whole day. It decides your rank reward.
Rankings close at the daily reset and rewards arrive by mail. Players outside the top 10, or with fewer than 1,000 points, get no rank reward.
All 5 Stages: Chest Targets and Points
The chest targets below are the same in every bracket from Base Lv.25 to Lv.30, with one exception: in the Lv.29–30 bracket, Train Soldiers chest 3 needs 46,200 points. Every stage also gives +30 points per diamond in a purchased pack.
| Stage | Chest 1 | Chest 2 | Chest 3 | Chest 4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Upgrade Hero | 1,800 | 3,600 | 5,400 | 12,000 |
| Construct Base | 5,600 | 11,500 | 18,800 | 30,000 |
| Research Tech | 5,600 | 11,500 | 18,800 | 30,000 |
| Train Soldiers | 13,500 | 27,000 | 36,000 | 75,000 |
| Enhance Fighter | 2,700 | 9,000 | 17,400 | 30,000 |
What scores in each stage:
| Stage | Points |
|---|---|
| Upgrade Hero | Recruit a hero: +400 each. Use Hero EXP: +1 per 2,000 EXP |
| Construct Base | Building speedups: +10 per minute. Power from construction: +1 per power |
| Research Tech | Research speedups: +10 per minute. Power from research: +1 per power |
| Train Soldiers | Training speedups: +10 per minute. Each soldier: T1 +5, T2 +6, T3 +7, T4 +13, T5 +15, T6 +19, T7 +22, T8 +25, T9 +28, T10 +31 |
| Enhance Fighter | Stamina: +100 per stamina used. Fighter Combat Chips: +1 per 10 used |
Checked in-game, August to October 2026. Targets may differ in lower brackets.
Chest and Daily Medal Rewards
All five stages use the same four chests. These rewards are the same in every bracket from Base Lv.25 to Lv.30; lower brackets may differ.
| Chest | Daily Medals | Skill EXP Books | SR Food, Metal and Oil Level Chests | 5-min Speedups |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 (1,890) | 1 | 160 | 3 of each | 7 |
| 2 (3,790) | 1 | 320 | 6 of each | 14 |
| 3 (5,680) | 2 | 480 | 10 of each | 20 |
| 4 (7,580) | 2 | 640 | 13 of each | 27 |
| Full stage | 6 | 1,600 | 32 of each | 68 (5 h 40 m) |
Daily Medals unlock three daily rewards:
| Medals | Reward |
|---|---|
| 2 | 2 SSR Omni Hero Shards, 1 Recruit Card, 50 diamonds |
| 8 | 5 SSR Omni Hero Shards, 3 Recruit Cards, 100 diamonds |
| 18 | 2 UR Omni Hero Shards, 6 Recruit Cards, 200 diamonds |
A full stage gives 6 medals, so clearing three stages a day reaches 18. The two cheapest stages to clear are Upgrade Hero and Enhance Fighter.
What Each Chest Costs Without Spending Money
| Target | Free route |
|---|---|
| Upgrade Hero, all 4 chests (12,000) | 30 hero recruits, or fewer recruits plus Hero EXP |
| Enhance Fighter, chest 1 (2,700) | 27 stamina |
| Enhance Fighter, all 4 chests (30,000) | 300 stamina |
| Construct Base or Research Tech, chest 1 (5,600) | 9 h 20 m of speedups, or 5,600 power from finished upgrades |
| Construct Base or Research Tech, all 4 (30,000) | 50 hours of speedups, or the power from a big upgrade finished in the window |
| Train Soldiers, chest 1 (13,500) | 483 T9 soldiers or 22 h 30 m of speedups |
| Train Soldiers, all 4 (75,000) | 2,679 T9 or 2,420 T10 soldiers, or 125 hours of speedups |
The first two chests are realistic in most stages. Train Soldiers has the highest targets, so a full training batch is the cheapest way through it.
Stage Swap
Once a day you can swap the current stage with a later one. Points, targets and chest progress all move with the stage. The rules:
- One swap per day.
- You can only swap with a stage later in the day.
- Claim any open chest first. You can’t swap with unclaimed rewards.
- No swaps in the last 5 minutes of a stage.
Use it when a stage you need lands while you are asleep or busy. For example, if Construct Base falls at night, swap it into a window when you are online with builds about to finish.
Line It Up With Alliance Competition
The same action can score in Mission Readiness and in Alliance Competition at the same time. These are useful pairings to plan around. Some actions also score on other VS days.
| Mission Readiness stage | Matching VS day |
|---|---|
| Enhance Fighter (stamina) | Monday, Radar Exploration |
| Construct Base | Tuesday, Base Construction |
| Research Tech | Wednesday, Tech Research |
| Upgrade Hero | Thursday, Hero Training |
| Train Soldiers | Friday, Full Military Preparation |
On each VS day, open the Calendar and save that day’s speedups for the matching 4-hour stage. If it falls at a bad time, use your Stage Swap to move it. Plan the week with the VS Scoring Planner.
Best Strategy
1. Check the stage before you spend anything
Speedups, stamina and recruits used in the wrong stage score nothing here. Open Mission Readiness first and check which stage is running and how long is left.
2. Aim for 18 medals with the cheap stages
Upgrade Hero and Enhance Fighter have the lowest targets. Clearing both gives 12 medals, and one more full stage reaches the UR shard reward.
3. Finish upgrades inside the window
Construct Base and Research Tech score the power you gain. When a long upgrade is almost done, let it finish during the matching stage, ideally on the matching VS day.
4. If you buy packs, one per stage
A pack with diamonds scores 30 points per diamond in any stage. A 500-diamond pack gives 15,000 points, enough to clear every Upgrade Hero chest. Since each stage has its own chests, one pack per stage is worth far more than several in one stage. Above the top chest, extra points only help your rank. Packs that pay their diamonds out over several days, such as the 7-Day Login pack, scored nothing when bought. See the Pack Value Guide for which packs are worth it.
5. Claim before the stage ends
Claim chests as soon as you reach them. It also keeps Stage Swap available.
Common Mistakes
- Using speedups as soon as you log in. The stage that scores them may start a few hours later.
- Reading the ranking score as chest progress. Only the number at the top left fills the chests.
- Chasing the top Train Soldiers chest. At 75,000 points it costs more than the other stages. Three cheaper full stages already reach 18 medals.
- Forgetting the daily medal rewards. The 18-medal reward is the main prize, not the chests themselves.
Mission Readiness FAQ
What is Mission Readiness in Z Route: Redemption?
A daily points event with six 4-hour stages. Each stage has four chests filled by one activity, and the chests give Daily Medals toward three daily rewards.
Is Mission Readiness the same as Alliance Competition?
No. Alliance Competition changes theme once a day and ranks alliances. Mission Readiness changes every 4 hours and is personal. The same actions can score in both at once.
How many medals do I need for the UR shards?
18. A fully cleared stage gives 6, so three full stages a day are enough.
Can I play Mission Readiness without spending money?
Yes. Hero recruits, stamina, finished upgrades and saved speedups clear most chests, especially in Upgrade Hero and Enhance Fighter.
Why didn’t my pack purchase give points?
Only packs with diamonds at the moment of purchase score. Packs that pay diamonds out over several days scored nothing at purchase.
